  • Stewards of Children:
    Who: The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy - Medical University of South Carolina
    What: A child sexual abuse prevention training program for adults.
    Why: 130 adults volunteers are needed to participate in evaluating child sexual abuse.
    Anyone who work with children and youth from schools, faith-based organizations or youth-serving organizations. This could include anyone who works with children in a variety of capacities including youth groups and little league sports teams. To learn more, 770-942-2391.

  • Summer Youth Program:
    Atlanta Street Theatre announces its 25th.
    Registration is taking place now for students ages 12–18
    The five week program runs Mondays through Fridays -May 27 through June 30.

Every woman, regardless of smoking history, should initiate a conversation with her doctor about her risk for lung cancer. Lung cancer, like any other cancer, is most treatable when detected early.
