Open Hand needs as many as 125 volunteers each day. If you and your friends or co-workers are looking to get more involved in the community Open Hand wants to hear from you. Volunteer opportunities include packaging meals, driving a route to deliver meals as well as assisting with senior health and wellness programs.

Open Hand volunteers help package and deliver over 4500 meals every day to homebound seniors and others suffering from chronic or critical illness. They also provide Comprehensive Nutrition Care which includes education and counseling that helps clients prevent or better manage chronic disease.

Open Hand will commemorate its 20th Anniversary of service to the Atlanta community with its annual Party in the Kitchen on October 18th.
