Leslie Anderson, President & CEO, Alzheimer's Association (GA Chapter)
Lee White, Chairman of the Board, Alzheimer's Association (Atlanta Region)
Every 70 seconds, someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. It is the sixth leading cause of death in America today, and the only one that is increasing. There are currently more than 200,000 Georgians with Alzheimer's disease, over 80,000 of which reside in metro Atlanta.
To raise funds and support the programs and services provided for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association has reinvented the popular ABC show "Dancing with the Stars" and created an exciting new benefit Dancing Stars of Atlanta! This event will pair 10 celebrity dancers with 10 professional dancers in a one night gala dance competition on Sunday May 16th at the Foundry at Puritan Mill.
With Dr. Andrew Young as the Honorary Event Chair and a cast of local Atlanta celebrities, this is one event you can't afford to miss! Purchase your tickets online today!
