Steve came to Atlanta in 1981 and started doing mornings at Z-93. He then was hired to go across the street when Susquehana radio started Power 99. They had just hired a young journalist major from Ohio State, Vikki Locke to do news. So in 1987, their partnership began and they have become morning institutions for over 20 years for Atlanta morning commuters.
Deeply rooted in charities, Steve has been on the board of children’s healthcare, Starlight children’s foundation, and has worked for the Elton John aids foundation.
Steve has 3 kids, Brendan, Kelly and Ryan and two grandchildren. Kelly his oldest is a graduate of Auburn and lives in Huntsville. The two boys are in college.
