Vikki Locke has been waking up Atlanta listeners for over 20 years. A graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Vikki and her husband Mike have lived in the Roswell area for the past ten years. She has interviewed presidents, and other world leaders, musicians, movie and television stars and sports celebrities. She was recently honored by Atlanta Woman Magazine with a Woman of the Year award for her philanthropy. When a family member died while on a waiting list for a kidney, Vikki decided to become a spokesperson for the National Kidney Foundation. Her mother-in-law is a breast cancer survivor and Vikki walks in the Komen Race for the Cure each year in her honor.Other organizations she lends a hand to include: The Georgia Kidney Foundation , The Elton John Aids Foundation , The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation , The Sara Blakely Foundation , Susan G. Komen , UNICEF , My House , Child Kind , and the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention or GCAPP
