For all of the Disney fans out there, it’s time to don those Mickey Mouse ears and start packing. Walt Disney Imagineering has come forward to reveal a brand new cruise line.
Just on the heels of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s big announcement that cruises in and out of American ports can potentially restart in July, Walt Disney Imagineering Portfolio Creative Executive Laura Cabo has come forward with a press release to offer an update on the new Disney Wish cruise line. And, it’s looking to make an impact next summer.
“Today was a special day for Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering, as we unveiled a first look at the incredible spaces and experiences coming to the Disney Wish.” Cabo said within a recent press release. “I could not be more proud of our teams for the hard work and dedication they’re putting into making Disney’s newest ship unlike anything on the seas.”
While Disney fans will not be able to embark quite yet, Cabo went on to reveal that the new cruise line is projected to set sail in summer 2022.
“You’ll be immersed in Disney’s rich legacy of enchanting storytelling.” Cabo continued. “We’re bringing to life the stories and characters of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars adventures like never before.”
The cruise line is set to feature a bevy of different events themed around Disney’s latest properties, including a “Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge” and a “Worlds of Marvel” cinematic dining adventure. To learn all there is to know about the latest cruise line to join Disney’s fleet, click here.
