OFFICIAL RULES

**PLEASE NOTE: These Official Rules have been updated as of March 15, 2022, to extend the final entry period. All changes are noted below.**

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the B98.5 Workday Cash Call Spring 2022 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the State of Georgia with a valid Georgia driver’s license or Georgia state ID and who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Cox Radio, LLC, d/b/a Cox Media Group Atlanta (“Sponsor”), DMR International Inc. d/b/a “DMR/Interactive” (“DMR”), Terrier Media Buyer, Inc., and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, grandchildren and in-laws, regardless of where they live. Persons belonging to or affiliated with a professional acting, theater, or film-making organization, such as SAG or AFTRA, are not allowed to compete in the Contest or participate in any entry. Professional actors and filmmakers, whether full-time or part-time, are allowed to compete so long as they do not belong to any professional organizations connected with the entertainment industry that would cause Sponsor to pay the entrant or any other person a fee or any other benefit for taking part in any Contest event.

Limit: Only one (1) prize winner may be selected from the same household every thirty (30) days in connection with any Contest sponsored or administered by any of the CMG Atlanta radio stations: WSB-AM, WSB-FM, WSBB, WALR, and WSRV (each, a “Station”). If you or a member of your household has won a prize from any Station within the last thirty (30) days, you will be ineligible to receive a prize in this Contest.

3. How to Enter. The Sweepstakes begins on February 16, 2022, at 12:01 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends at 5:10 PM ET on March 25, 2022 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Entry Period begins on Wednesday February 16, 2022, at 12:01 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends at 12:00 PM ET on Thursday, March 24, 2022 (the “Entry Period”). There are two (2) ways to enter this Sweepstakes, as detailed below:

A. Mobile App/Website: Enter by visiting the B98.5 Workday Cash Call Spring 2022 official registration page at B985.com (the “Website”) or the B98.5 mobile app (the “App”) and completing all of the required information and following all posted instructions.

(i) Website: To enter via Sponsor’s website, you must complete the following steps:

1. Enter by visiting the “Contests” page at http://www.B985.com, selecting the B98.5 Workday Cash Call Spring 2022 Sweepstakes link and completing all of the required information and following all posted instructions.

2. By participating in the Sweepstakes via Sponsor’s website, you agree to be bound by Sponsor’s Visitor Agreement (http://www.B985.com/visitor_agreement/) and Privacy Policy (http://www.B985.com/privacy_policy/), which are hereby incorporated by reference.

(ii) App: To enter via Sponsor’s mobile app, you must complete the following steps (standard data rates may apply):

1. Download and install the “B98.5″ mobile app (the “App”) on a compatible mobile device from either Google® Play or the iTunes® App Store.

2. Once you have installed the App, click the B98.5 Workday Cash Call Spring 2022 Sweepstakes tab on the App’s main menu to register for the Sweepstakes. Follow the instructions on the registration page and complete all the required information to submit an official entry form. All the information you provide must be complete and accurate. Entrants who submit an invalid phone number or email address may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

3. By participating in the Sweepstakes via the App, you agree to be bound by the App’s terms of use and privacy policy (http://www.B985.com/privacy_policy/), which is hereby incorporated by reference.

Failure to complete any of the steps in this section may result in the disqualification of your attempted entry as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for any issue that may prevent a Participant (as defined below) from being able to download or access the App or complete his/her entry.

Limit: one (1) entry per person and per email address during the Sweepstakes Period regardless of whether entering via the website, Android app or iOS app. An entry received through either the Sponsor’s website or the App, consistent with these Official Rules, will result in one (1) entry for the Sweepstakes.

B. “Tell A Friend Bonus” Entry: Upon entry into the Sweepstakes, the App or Website will prompt participants to invite another person to enter the Sweepstakes via an email link sent from the participant’s device (the “Invitation”). If (a) the participant chooses to participate in the “Tell A Friend” method of entry, (b) the invited person enters the Sweepstakes through the link in the Invitation, and (c) the invited person wins the Sweepstakes according to the rules set forth above, then the verified participant who referred the verified winning entry through the Invitation will win a bonus check (the “Tell A Friend Bonus”), subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The determinations of Sponsor and Sweepstakes operators will be final and binding in all respects.

There is no limit to the number of the people you can refer, and no limit to the number of Tell A Friend Bonuses you can receive for this Sweepstakes.

By entering, you agree to receive sweepstakes-related communications (including via email) during the Entry Period.

Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by a participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. Use of any automated, robotic, or third-party system to participate is prohibited, and will result in disqualification.

The use of multiple identities and/or accounts is prohibited, and any attempt to obtain more than the stated number of entries will void that participant’s entries and may result in participant’s disqualification. Incomplete, forged, altered, automated, mechanically reproduced, lost, late, postage-due misdirected, garbled or illegible entries will be disqualified. Sponsor will not be responsible for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender, Sponsor, or Sponsor’s Sweepstakes application service provider. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent, provided that such person satisfies all other Sweepstakes eligibility requirements. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account.

All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons who submit false or misleading entry information or who Sponsor determines to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.

Entry into a call-in Sweepstakes shall be deemed consent to record any telephone conversation between a potential winner and Sponsor. Listeners accessing Sponsor’s radio station audio via IP connections like website-based streaming or mobile devices are welcome to enter. However, Sponsor cannot be responsible for delays in electronic transmission of station audio to IP devices. By entering this Sweepstakes, listeners acknowledge and agree to this specific provision of these Official Rules. In addition, Sponsor will not be responsible for loss of service to the Sweepstakes Line or for a participant’s failure to reach the Sweepstakes Line due to malfunction of any network or system, congestion, any technical or human error, failures or malfunctions of any kind, including the congestion, overload, busy signals, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call. In the event of interruption of power or telephone service to Sponsor during a call-in period of the Sweepstakes prior to accepting the Cash Call caller, or a change in programming that results in Sponsor’s inability to air a call-in opportunity, Sponsor will not replay the affected call-in opportunity and the number of winning opportunities awarded in this Sweepstakes will be reduced accordingly. If a Cash Call caller is ineligible or fails to comply with any term of condition of these Official Rules, that caller will be disqualified, and no winner will be selected during that call-in period. Sponsor will not be responsible for dropped calls from mobile devices or land lines and dropped calls may result in a potential winner’s disqualification and forfeiture of all interest in any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons who submit false or misleading entry information or who Sponsor determines to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes. Any winning entrant must be the same person who originally dialed the phone to the radio station to the radio station to participate in a Sweepstakes. No family members, friends, office associates, or any other person will be allowed to participate in a Sweepstakes on another person’s behalf. An entrant must provide his or her own name as listed on his or her valid Georgia driver’s license or Georgia state-issued ID (or other proof of residency, such as a copy of a utility bill), subject to the Sweepstakes’ eligibility requirements. If a participant uses a false name on any ID submitted as proof of identification, he or she will be immediately disqualified from the Sweepstakes and be ineligible to win any prize.

Submission of contact information in connection with this Sweepstakes (whether or not required), including, without limitation, mailing address, phone number, email address, etc. during entry constitutes permission for Sponsor and DMR to use entrant’s personal information for purposes of administration of the Sweepstakes. You also may opt-in to be added to Sponsor’s and/or DMR’s customer database and to permit Sponsor and/or DMR to contact you in the future for promotional and other reasons. You may opt-out of receiving such communications as set forth in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (located at www.b985.com/privacy_policy) or DMR’s Privacy Policy (located at dmrinteractive.com/privacy.htm) or as provided within any such marketing materials (e.g., using the “Unsubscribe” feature provided in the footer of Sponsor’s e-mails). You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and DMR. The information you provide to Sponsor and DMR will only be used in accordance with Sponsor’s and DMR’s Privacy Policies.

4. Winner Selection. Each week Beginning Friday, February 18, 2022 and ending Thursday, March 17 24, 2022 (the “Sweepstakes Period”), Sponsor will conduct twenty-five (25) random drawings from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period each week from Friday, February 18, 2022, to Thursday, March 17, 2022, and Sponsor will conduct five (5) random drawings from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period each day from March 21, 2022 to March 24, 2022. Drawings will take place at the “Winner Selection” dates and times listed below, where winners will be selected from the participants who entered at any point during the Sweepstakes Period prior to such drawing (e.g., winners selected at 12:00 p.m. ET on March 17 will be selected from the eligible entries submitted from 5:00 a.m. ET on February 16 to 11:59 a.m. ET on March 17). Potential winners selected in the weekly drawings will not be declared winners unless they answer the Cash Call Cue, as defined below.

● Cash Call Cues: 8:00 a.m. on March 25 to 5:10 p.m. on March 25

On weekdays for the week following the drawing of the twenty-five (25) Cash Call winners for each Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will announce the name of one (1) winner (a “Cash Call Contestant”) on-air on B98.5 at each of the following times: 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:00 PM, 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. ET (one winner per time) (the “Cash Call Cue”). The Cash Call Contestant must listen for his/her name and will then have ten (10) minutes from the time of the announcement to call the B98.5 Studio at (404) 741-0985 (the “Sweepstakes Line”) to claim the prize. If the Cash Call Contestant does not call the Sweepstakes Line within ten (10) minutes of Cash Call Cue, or is ineligible for any reason in Sponsor’s sole discretion, the prize amount for such Cash Call Contestant will be added to the next potential winner’s prize as described below. All prize claims are subject to verification of the claimant’s eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules. Entries not selected as a daily winner will be retained for subsequent drawings.

Sponsor will select a maximum of 125 daily Cash Call winners during the Sweepstakes Period.

To become a winner, (a) you must be selected in the Winner Selection drawing during one of the Sweepstakes Periods, listed above; (b) you must be listening to the station at the time the your name is broadcast in a Cash Call Cue; (c) you must call Sponsor’s Sweepstakes Line within ten (10) minutes of your name’s announcement in a Cash Call Cue; and (d) you must comply with all other terms and conditions of these Official Rules. The determinations of Sponsor and Sweepstakes operators will be final and binding in all respects.

5. Odds. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants. Each potential winner will be notified at the time they are identified to be the Cash Call Contestant as noted above.

6. Prize Description. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, potential winner will receive the following prizes:

● Cash Call winners will each receive one (1) check for Five Hundred Dollars ($500), subject to the terms below.

● Tell A Friend Bonus winners will each receive one (1) check for One Hundred Dollars ($100).

Sponsor will award a maximum of one-hundred and twenty-five (125) Mobile App/Website Drawing winners and a maximum of one-hundred and twenty-five (125) Tell A Friend Bonus Winners.

The maximum Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of all prizes to be awarded in this Sweepstakes is Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000).

Limit: One (1) Cash Call prize per person and per email address; no limit on Tell A Friend Bonus prizes.

7. Winner Notification and Acceptance. All potential Winners will be contacted by B98.5 (WSB-FM)’s Promotions Department at the phone number and/or email address provided on the potential winner’s entry form on an ongoing basis during the Sweepstakes Period.

In order to claim a prize, potential winner must respond to B98.5 (WSB-FM)’s notification within ten minutes of the initial notification, as described above Winner Selection.

To claim his/her prize, the potential winner must provide the requested documentation by the station within a timely manner. Potential winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law), which must be notarized and returned within five (5) business days of notification.

B98.5 (WSB-FM)’s inability to reach a potential winner after a reasonable (as solely determined by Sponsor) effort has been made, the failure of a potential winner to timely respond to a prize notification, or the return of any prize notification as undeliverable, may at the sole discretion of B98.5 (WSB-FM)’s result in the potential winner’s disqualification and forfeiture of all interest in any prize.

A PARTICIPANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL SPONSOR HAS COMPLETED ITS VERIFICATION OF PARTICIPANT’S ELIGIBILITY.

A winner may waive the right to receive a prize. Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. No substitutions allowed by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes or components of prize packages with a prize or component of equal or greater value. Winner may be required to provide his/her valid Social Security Number to Sponsor for tax purposes and/or complete an IRS W-9 form in order to claim a prize. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on prize value and, as applicable, will be issued an IRS Form 1099 based on the prize value determined by Sponsor. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor.

8. Publicity. BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE THAT SPONSOR, DMR INTERNATIONAL INC. D/B/A “DMR/INTERACTIVE”, TERRIER MEDIA BUYER, INC., AND THEIR RESPECTIVE SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, DISTRIBUTORS, ADVERTISING/PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND PRIZE SUPPLIERS AND EACH SUCH COMPANY’S OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) HAVE THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT AND PERMISSION TO PUBLISH YOUR ENTRY ON THE WEBSITE AND TO BROADCAST, PUBLISH, OR OTHERWISE USE YOUR ENTRY AND/OR YOUR NAME, BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION, AND LIKENESS IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR FOR ANY COMMERCIAL, PUBLICITY, OR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSE WITHOUT LIMITATION, REVIEW OR APPROVAL, OR COMPENSATION TO YOU.  BY ENTERING, YOU GRANT THE RELEASED PARTIES AN EXCLUSIVE, ROYALTY-FREE AND IRREVOCABLE LICENSE AND RIGHT (BUT NOT THE OBLIGATION) TO TELECAST, BROADCAST, COPY, EDIT, ADAPT, MODIFY, REPRODUCE, PUBLISH, CREATE DERIVATIVE WORKS OF, DISTRIBUTE, USE, OR OTHERWISE PUBLICLY DISPLAY ANY OR ALL OF YOUR ENTRIES, OR ANY PORTION THEREOF, IN ANY MANNER OR MEDIUM THROUGHOUT THE WORLD IN PERPETUITY, FOR COMMERCIAL, PUBLICITY, OR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES, AND TO LICENSE OTHERS TO DO SO, WITHOUT LIMITATION, REVIEW OR APPROVAL, OR COMPENSATION TO YOU.

9. Participation. Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and any Sweepstakes judges or administrators selected by Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes for any reason, including, but not limited to, in the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date. Proof of sending or submission of an entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor.

10. Release. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO FULLY RELEASE, FOREVER DISCHARGE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, INJURIES, AND DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, OR DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY, LOSS OF ENJOYMENT, OR ANY OTHER HARM WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF: (1) PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES; (2) THE QUALITY, RECEIPT, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE; OR (3) ANY TRAVEL OR ACTIVITY THAT IS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PRIZE.

11. Limitations of Liability. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, PARTICIPANTS ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING THE WEB SITE AND THE PRIZE(S), ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND THAT SPONSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ABOUT THE PRIZE(S) AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. (BECAUSE SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH STATES, THE LIABILITY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY SUCH STATE LAW.)

THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR: (1) ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY PARTICIPANTS, PRINTING OR PRODUCTION ERRORS, OR BY ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR EMPLOYED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES; (2) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS, OR DISCONNECTIONS IN PHONE LINES OR NETWORK HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE; (3) UNAUTHORIZED HUMAN INTERVENTION IN ANY PART OF THE ENTRY PROCESS OR THE SWEEPSTAKES; (4) TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR WHICH MAY OCCUR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES, OR THE NOTIFICATION OF ANY WINNER; OR (5) ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY WHICH MAY BE CAUSED, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, FROM A PARTICIPANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RECEIPT OR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE.

Only the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules is available to be won in the Sweepstakes. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming, or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate eligible prize claims.

12. Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

13. Sponsor. The B98.5 Workday Cash Call Spring 2022 is sponsored by Cox Radio, LLC, d/b/a Cox Media Group Atlanta. The decisions of Sponsor regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials or announcements relating to the Sweepstakes.
