ATLANTA — With temperatures dropping overnight, warming centers will be available across the metro Atlanta area.

In DeKalb County, four warming centers are opening for residents on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m.

Here are the locations:

  • Frontline Response International, 2585 Gresham Rd. in Atlanta
  • North DeKalb Senior/Community Center, 3393 Malone Dr. in Chamblee
  • Mason Mill Recreation Center, 1340 McConnell Dr. in Decatur
  • Exchange Recreation Center, 2771 Columbia Dr. in Decatur

Officials say DeKalb County fire stations will not be activated as overnight warming center locations. However, Avondale Fire Station Fire Station No. 3, located at 100 N. Clarendon Ave. in Avondale Estates will function as a transportation pickup location to Frontline.

Residents in DeKalb County who may need homelessness assistance or housing services can contact DeKalb County Coordinated Entry by calling (404) 687-3500.

Officials say “hot meals, beds, and case management services are centralized at Frontline.”
