Reality stars Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald announced the birth of their fourth child on Monday.
Duggar, 28, introduced Fern in a YouTube video on Tuesday, Us Weekly reported. Duggar also heralded Fern’s arrival in an Instagram post.
The “Counting On” alum adds Fern to her family, which includes Spurgeon, 5; Henry, 4; and Ivy, 2, the website reported.
On Monday, Duggar invited her followers to part one of her birth story on YouTube, adding that the second part was “coming soon,” People reported. The first part began on July 13, according to the website.
Part one of the video also showed Duggar and Seewald arriving at a hospital on Sunday, when her contractions were three minutes apart, Entertainment Tonight reported.
The expectant parents did not know the sex of the baby until she arrived, according to Us Weekly.
“It’s a girl!” her nurses call out in the second YouTube video as Duggar bursts into tears.
The couple announced the baby’s name to her siblings via FaceTime, Us Weekly reported.
Duggar’s family commented on the birth, writing on her Instagram post, according to Entertainment Tonight.
“Congrats sis! So happy for y’all,” sister Jill Duggar wrote.

“Congratulations,” Joseph Duggar and his wife, Kendra Duggar, wrote. “We’re so happy for y’all.”
Duggar and Seewald, 26, have been married since November 2014, when they tied the knot in Arkansas, the website reported.
The couple announced in February that they were expecting their fourth child after Duggar lost a baby while pregnant in 2020, People reported.
“After the heartbreaking loss of a baby last year, we’re overjoyed to share that another little Seewald is on the way,” the couple said in a statement.
